The Learning Center

The Learning Center provides academic coaching, tutoring, supplemental instruction, and more! The Learning Center may be contacted by email at LearningCenter@unt.edu or by phone at (940) 369-7006. 

The Math Lab

The Math Lab is a walk-in tutoring lab that provides free math tutoring for students enrolled in an undergraduate College of Science course at UNT (includes biology, chemistry, math, and physics courses). The Math Lab tutors answer specific questions, check that students are approaching a concept correctly, work with and offer alternative problems, and help clarify concepts. They are located in Sage Hall, Room 130. More information can be found on the Math Lab website or by contacting them via email at mathlab@unt.edu.

Writing Center

The Writing Center can assist with writing instruction. They offer free writing tutoring to all currently enrolled UNT students in all disciplines and at all stages of their academic careers--from English composition students to graduate students writing theses and dissertations. They teach students strategies and techniques to improve their writing for the long term. Students can reach the Writing Center at WritingCenter@unt.edu, or (940) 565-2563 to schedule an in person or virtual appointment.

Toulouse Graduate School (TGS)

As a graduate student, the Toulouse Graduate School provides academic support specifically to doctoral and masters students. Frisco Academic Support

UNT at Frisco has the Frisco Tutoring & Academic Success Department. They offer tutoring, writing support, academic coaching, and more. For questions on Frisco specific resources, students may email UNT Frisco or call (972) 668-7100.
