Accessibility Information Management (AIM)

The Accessibility Information Management (AIM) system is an amazing online application used to set up and manage academic accommodations for students with disabilities at the University of North Texas who are registered with the Office of Disability Access. Through the AIM system, instructors can review ODA Letters of Accommodation (LOA) for each student enrolled in their courses; complete Alternative Testing Agreements; view the status of students test requests with the ODA Testing Center; upload exams; and review peer's notes that have been uploaded into AIM.

AIM Instructor Portal

We have provided step-by-step instructions on how to view letters of accommodation within AIM, take full advantage of the Alternative Testing module, support your students with Alternative Formats requests, see the status of how ODA is supporting a given class with notetaking accommodations, and see what services your Deaf and Hard of Hearing student needs.

Please note: Each letter of accommodation will always be emailed to you. It is also available in the Instructor Portal for easy viewing in the future as well. The portal's list of students in your course will update throughout the semester as students submit requests to use accommodations. Mid-semester requests may come due to: either a student deciding that they need accommodations in your class OR because they have completed registering with the ODA and accommodations are then available.
