UNT's Student Health and Wellness Center is now offering COVID-19 boosters, in accordance with CDC guidelines.
Vaccines will be available to UNT students who received either the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, or another WHO-approved vaccine. Call 940-565-2333 to receive a booster appointment. Faculty or staff should reach out to their primary doctor or a local pharmacy for booster availability.
If you received Pfizer-BioNTech:

You should get a booster if you are:
- Ages 12 years and older
- Boosters can be administered 5 months after completing your primary COVID-19 vaccination series
If you received Moderna:

You should get a booster if you are:
- Ages 18 years and older
- Boosters can be administered 5 months after completing your primary COVID-19 vaccination series
If you received Johnson & Johnson's Janssen:

You should get a booster if you are:
- Ages 18 years and older
- Boosters can be administered 2 months after completing your initial COVID-19 vaccination
If you were vaccinated outside the United States:

You should get a booster if you are
- Ages 12 years and older

You did one of the following
- Received all the recommended doses of a World Health Organization emergency use listing (WHO-EUL) COVID-19 vaccine, not approved or authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
- Or completed a mix and match series composed of any combination of FDA-approved, FDA-authorized, or WHO-EUL COVID vaccines
- Boosters can be administered 5 months after getting all recommended doses or completing a mix and match COVID-19 vaccination series
Second Booster:
- Second boosters can be administered 4 months after receiving the first booster.

You are eligible for a second booster if you are:
- Age 50 or older
- Under age 50 and immunocompromised
You must bring proof of vaccination, including vaccine received and dates administered, to your appointment. Failure to do so will result in not being able to receive the booster at that time.
