Many common medical concerns can be resolved with over-the-counter medicines and only
require a medical appointment if they do not resolve or worsen after using the over-the-counter
medicine. The lists below are common issues and their recommended medications. All
of these medications are available in the UNT Pharmacy on the first floor of Chestnut
Hall. Generic forms of these medications are available at lower costs but with equal
effectiveness. If your condition persists or worsens after trying these medications,
please make an appointment to be seen in the Student Health and Wellness Center.
