Other Insurance Considerations
Other Insurance Considerations
Preventive Care
  • Many insurance plans will cover a physical or gynecological exam (usually referred to as a well visit), routine labs, and X-rays once per year.
Labs
  • Some insurance plans may require that lab tests are sent to a specific reference lab. We will provide your insurance information to the reference lab, and they will bill your insurance. You may receive a separate bill from the outside lab.
  • Payment is expected at the time of service for discounted monthly Lab Specials and Walk-In STI Testing, which are not covered by insurance.
For reference lab pricing, contact:
Specialty Services
  • We collect a general visit co-pay for Psychiatry visits. This is usually less than the specialist copay amount.
  • Most medical insurance plans do not cover services such as dietitian visits or travel medicine consultations.
