The SHWC offers both in‑person and virtual options for routine medical concerns and
a variety of specialty services, all designed with care and convenience in mind.
ADHD Services
ADHD Medication Management
The SHWC does not diagnose ADHD but can provide medication management for students with an established diagnosis.
Meeting with a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
can help students build healthy, sustainable eating habits and confidently navigate
food choices during their transition to college.
The SHWC provides comprehensive, confidential gynecological care. Our full‑time gynecologist
and experienced medical providers are available to support routine concerns, specialized
needs, and patient education in a caring environment.
The SHWC's on-campus clinic offers primary health care services for UNT students.
With our on-site lab and radiology services, we're able to diagnose concerns more
quickly and efficiently.
Our psychiatry team evaluates conditions like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder,
and more. They create personalized treatment plans and manage medications based on
each person's needs. Case management services are also available for care coordination.
The SHWC offers testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) without an appointment.
Discounted testing is available several times throughout the year.
A wellness exam is recommended each year. These annual visits provide basic preventive
care, including routine tests, screenings, and health assessments that support long-term
well-being.
